China-Africa Discussion Group:

We have recently launched a China-Africa discussion group. It is a bi-weekly forum to exchange and discuss ideas, framed by specific academic and policy literature on China-Africa relations. The first session on 27 January, discussed an article by Dr. Devon Curtis entitled “China and the Insecurity of Development in the Democratic Republic of Congo”.

The next session will be discussing African and Chinese diasporas. It is scheduled for 10 February by 5.00pm, Seminar Room A, Manor Road Building, OX1 3UQ.
